The root of your power to effect change is your vote.
Volunteer to help get our county chapters organized. If everyone assumes someone else will handle it, then it will never be done. Getting a chapter organized gives you the chance to make a difference in your own community.
We need Branch Officers in every county. To be an officer, you must have proof of your IDP registration, and a willingness to serve. That’s it.
We encourage our members to organize events to support our candidates, and help bring attention to the issues and needs of our communities.
The more people we have, the more effective we will be.
Submit articles, features, or links of interest for publication on our website, or in the Independent Word newsletter.
Money makes it possible for us to communicate with our members, hold events to bring attention to the issues that concern us, and support our candidates.
We need any stamps you can give, to communicate with those of our members who do not use the Internet or email.
Donations of office supplies are greatly appreciated. If you send us any empty ink cartridges made by HP. Brothers or Lexmark, Office Depot will give us a free ream of paper for each cartridge we turn in.
Volunteer to help put on a meeting or event in your area, or prepare mail-outs, brochures or videos.
Send us an email to IPFLcontact@ipfl.org with the following information: name, address, county that you live in, and the working email address you’d like us to send things to (phone number is optional but appreciated). We will not share this information with anyone else.
If your want your elected officals to know what you want them to do, then tell them!
When they can hear your voice, they know how much you mean it.
