The Almanac of Policy Issues website's Health section contains dozens of articles about health issues, links to organizations working directly with the issues, plus links to other publications and resources for further research on the topic. They seem to mitigate skew by pointing to resources and publications all along the political spectrum, so you can explore multiple perspectives on the topic.
The Florida Department of Health homepage provides newsfeeds, event announcements and links to resources available for Floridians.
